About Vikram

I'm Vikram Borisa, a bachelors-educated and a current masters guitar student in melbourne. I specialize in personalized guitar lessons for all levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced, kids, and adults. With 13 years of experience playing and 8 years of teaching guitar, I've seen firsthand the impact that music education can have on individuals. My expertise includes chord progressions, fingerstyle, music theory, ear training, and more, Whether its classical, electric, acoustic or bass guitar, I tailor lessons to your goalsn be it any genre, country, blues, metal, jazz, funk, classical, this covers it all. I'm drawn to this role because it offers the opportunity to inspire and mentor students of varying skill levels and ages, helping them to develop their musical talents and achieve their goals and their own unique sound. I'm confident that my experience, patience, and enthusiasm for music will bring results.

About the lesson

I'm excited to apply for the Guitar Teacher position because I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and love for music. The lessons will implement progressive planning and tailored curriculum. Will include music theory, ear training, Rhythm training, transcription, sight reading, teachnical workouts.

Perfect! Perfect! Vikram’s an amazing teacher! Super knowledgeable and very patient! I really like how he focuses on the fundamentals which is exactly what I was looking for. I haven’t had many lessons but I can feel myself improving each week. I look forward to learning more from him :D

Vikram is an extremely talented guitar player and teacher. He understands what a student needs to focus on in order to improve their playing. For example my fretboard navigation and theory knowledge was extremely lacking before I started taking lessons, but I saw it improve over time just by following his recommended excercises and tips. Moreover all the teaching is done with real musical examples (i.e application of the technique/theory concept being discussed) which makes the lessons much more interesting and enjoyable.
