I like to take a holistic approach in these lessons. Students get the opportunity to focus on both technical and musical applications of the drum set. Rudiments + technical exercises will always form the foundation of lessons. Students will then learn to apply aspects of these patterns in a musical fashion. Playing to songs will consolidate students’ knowledge, and it brings out the fun of playing drums!
