Hello! My name is Sean, and I am a Graduate Nurse.
You are here because you have questions that are unanswered, right? It is ok to not understand something, which is why teaching exists. Not knowing the answer to a question does not make us "stupid" or "dumb" even if others around us do know the answer; there is always something that we know that they do not!
My goal is to help you understand so that you will succeed and maybe even share that understanding to help others!

The core of my teaching is Critical Thinking. Most conventional teaching stops at specific skills, such as how to calculate A + B = C. I prefer to teach why we are using A + B = C so that my students can not only formulate the answer, but are able to identify future scenarios in which they can apply my teachings to teach themselves.
For a typical lesson, I would like my student to present to me specific problems that they don't understand. I like to have the student walk me through the problem so I can assess their knowledge level and determine a goal for that lesson. Once we establish the goal for that session, the rest of the time is spent achieving that goal.
I prefer to have the problems in question presented to me before we begin a lesson so that I can determine whether or not I am capable, as I would not like to waste the time and money of my students.
Any level from 1st year college courses and below is fine, with the lowest level I have tutored being 4th grade. However, I would be completely fine teaching down to a 2nd grade level! While not being widely known, the core of my teaching (critical thinking) can be learned from as young as 5 years of age. The younger a student learns this the better, as it has a "compounding-interest" effect on learning.
