About Josh
In May of 2020, I graduated from Nursing school in Columbus, Ohio. About two weeks later, I took the NCLEX and passed in 60 questions- my nursing career had begun!
After passing the NCLEX, I took my first nursing job at a major health system in their critical care fellowship. In this fellowship I learned even more about patient care, the tools we use in acute care, and took care of the sickest of the sick. This experience solidified my knowledge in pharmacology and pathophysiology, and I found I really enjoyed precepting new nurses. Once I realized I enjoyed teaching, I began helping nursing students through their courses and prepping for the NCLEX as well.
I believe nursing is a tremendously rewarding career, and I have really enjoyed helping nursing students achieve their goals.

Hey Nursing Student!
Nursing school sucks. Too often professors throw a PowerPoint at you and expect you to connect all the dots. Nursing school is hard, but it doesn't have to be. I work with you to fully comprehend what concepts are understood- and where there are gaps in knowledge.
Explaining those gaps in knowledge help you actually understand the material and retain it for the future instead of trying to memorize EVERYTHING.
Once you schedule a time with me, I will be sure to understand the topics you would like help mastering and prepare a lesson plan built just for you.
At this point, I have held study sessions for hundreds of nursing students, and I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your RN license.
While I work with nursing students the most, I am also able to help with highschool level courses as well in courses such as psychology, biology, chemistry, and sociology.
