About Alessio
I began studying the flute at the age of eleven with Maestro Jozefina Negri, embarking on a journey that has led me to develop a solid technical and musical foundation. During my pre-academic training, I earned the ABRSM VII degree in Music Performance and in 2020 I won second prize at the 10th San Vigilio In…Canto National Competition. I graduated with a three-year degree in Flute from the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome, where I am currently completing a two-year master's degree in Flute under the guidance of Maestro Giuseppe Pelura and in Chamber Music with Maestro Roberto Galletto. Alongside my academic studies, I have been completing a piccolo advanced course at the Italian Flute Academy for two years, where I study with Maestro Marta Rossi. I am a member of the “ICNT – I Concerti nel Tempio” orchestra, where I collaborate as a piccolo player and flutist. Since 2025, I have integrated the Alexander Technique into my daily practice. I have participated in masterclasses with Andrea Manco, Adriana Ferreira, Matteo Evangelisti, János Bálint and Paolo Totti.

My lessons are aimed at students of all levels and ages. I prefer to structure the program to cover the main aspects of flute technique: sound, intonation, articulation, air control, agility, and other fundamentals. In a typical lesson, I suggest starting with a short warm-up, such as breathing exercises, long notes, and scales. I then move on to studies and pieces, chosen from the main flute methods or from the flute repertoire, always keeping in mind the student's level and musical interests. I dedicate the final part of the lesson to ensemble playing, working on duets, an essential moment for developing listening skills, rhythmic awareness, and intonation.
