About Maria
I have a degree in industrial engineering and physical engineering at the UPC. I offer revision classes, exam preparation or preparation to enter the university. I have extensive knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, industrial technology, electrical engineering, and biomedicine. I have some programming knowledge. Specifically, I have an intermediate level of the Python language, a high level in Matlab and a basic level in Arduino, enough to carry out some practice / small project if the student is interested. I did the scientific baccalaureate with an excellent average, standing out in Spanish and Catalan, so I can also teach these subjects. I can also take English reinforcement classes and help with written expression. I have a C1 level of English (110 in the TOEFL) and I have made a 9-month stay in the United States.

First of all, I like to get to know the student a little: - Their weak points, to know which areas to focus on - Their strengths, to serve as a basis for new knowledge - Hobbies and general interests that can serve to provide more realistic examples and thus help the understanding of new concepts. I also want to know the objectives of the classes before starting (passing a subject, general reinforcement, preparing the next course, etc.) to organize the classes based on these. Ideally, I like to have the base material (with which the student has worked / will work in class) in order to adapt my explanations: use the same type of reasoning and terminology as much as possible so as not to confuse the student further.
