The study of philosophy, be that ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, etc., is one of the most enjoyable pursuits, and the associated ability to form rational arguments is incredibly useful in the wider world. For these reasons, I am passionate about the proper teaching of philosophy.

In my lessons, I encourage original ideas and interpretations. This is achieved through a process of rational debate and logical critique which helps the student to temper their own ideas and offers alternative viewpoints. This not only improves ones own reasoning skills and makes philosophy fun, but helps one to develop a deep understanding of philosophical texts.
I have been tutoring philosophy for three years, and have presented at philosophy seminars and tutorials, so I've been trained to present ideas in a precise logical way, and engage with misunderstandings.
