As a gymnastics coach, with 4 years of coaching experience under my belt, I know how to be professional in a teacher-student setting. I also have experience working with kids of all ages from coaching so I know how to work with them. I also know how to make things fun for my students when I need to and how to not take things too seriously all the time.

Galen is an outstanding piano teacher! My son has been taking lessons with Galen and he went from not wanting to take lessons to loving the piano. Galen is patient and easy going. My son is super shy but he does so well with his lessons from Galen!
The way Galen teaches left me excited to go home and practice. He walked me through some basics that I previously found hard to grasp. And he is patient!

Along with my 15 years of serious piano study, I have played in many piano recitals and several competitions. I am excited to help students become great piano performers as well as players if they have the goal of playing in recitals or competitions as well. I also offer my first lesson for free!
