About Anna
Hi! I'm Anna, an experienced IB tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I graduated with 42 points in the IB, earned my Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and am now beginning a Master’s in Health Data Analytics and Machine Learning at Imperial College London. Over the past four years, I’ve helped many students improve their IB Maths and Chemistry skills—boosting both their confidence and their grades. My students appreciate my clear explanations, structured lessons, and the way I encourage them to think critically and make connections across topics. I teach IB Maths and Chemistry at all levels, with 4 years of tutoring experience. My lessons are held online, typically lasting 90 to 120 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and focus level. My approach is interactive and structured. I begin by going through the relevant theory in a clear and concise way. Once the foundation is in place, I focus on application, making sure students can solve problems in line with IB mark schemes. I ask lots of questions throughout to encourage students to actively connect concepts, rather than just memorise formulas or facts. My lessons are ideal for IB students who want to build confidence, sharpen exam technique, and truly understand the material—not just get through it.
