About Sierra
I want all students and people to reach their goals and be successful! I strive to make the learning environment comfortable and understanding. I love to push my students to challenge themselves and it always leads to the "AHA" moments. I love watching my students learn and grow and I love to be the one that helps guide them in the direction of success. I am always available to my students and I love being able to walk them through the problem along with just giving helpful hints (that is where the challenging comes into play!)

I love to open with open ended questions to start the thought process, I then love to do a hands on activity of what to expect for the lesson to get the ideas flowing. From there I love to do a direct approach of the material first, then do a step by step process to help see the different aspects of the lesson. Once all steps have been finalized I have students work until they are stuck and then guide them through those areas to reach the end goal, SUCCESS! I can teach all areas of elementary school, reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and outside of elementary I can teach Algebra, high school level English and writing!
