I will teach them the basics, be patient and friendly, will explain to them the bits they need to work on. My lessons can be 30 mins - 1 hour. I will first start with a singing exercise to boost up the vocals for the rest of the class. Then I would either make my student pick a song they would like to learn how to sing or else I would pick and see if they are okay with it. Then we have as much fun as we want with our lessons!
