About Alysia
I am a recent graduate of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Exeter who is currently doing a MA Law Conversion to hopefully become a solicitor. As a part of my degree I spent a year working in Spain as an English Language Assistant. I gained experience in teaching and feel confident in tutoring anyone studying for their GCSE or A level in Spanish. I remember taking these exams not so long ago and remember how important speaking practise was for me. I am passionate about language learning and understand the challenges to learning languages at school. I hope to be able to support and inspire more students to study languages. Alongside my studies I love to play my oboe, read and spend time with my friends!

I am offering one-hour sessions which will be tailored to each student. I believe it is important to have a strong foundational knowledge in grammar to understand a language. I have an array of activities to focus on different structures and develop a deeper understanding of Spanish. At the beginning of each session we will do a recap of the previous lesson to make sure progress is being made! I aim to increase my tutees confidence in languages in a fun and interactive way.
