About Jose
I am a Mexican first year graduate student at Columbia University studying Public Administration with a goal of advancing our domestic transition to renewable energy. Aside from my academic endeavors, I am very passionate about my Latin American heritage and deeply enjoy reading classics and poetry from the region. That said, I would genuinely love to spread my appreciation for the language and be your Spanish tutor. I look forward to the fruitful conversations we will have!

Spanish
Lessons will be conducted remotely and will involve the reading and discussion of provided literature, which will be chosen based on student's level of Spanish proficiency. This exercise will give the student the chance to learn new vocabulary and how to elaborate on the information learned. Lessons will go at the pace of the student's learning so no gaps are left in their understanding of the Spanish language. Specific goals can be established, such as improving sentence structure skills, strengthening grammar, etc.
