About Mathy

Hi, I’m Mathilda, an experienced tutor with a strong background in education, communication, and working with young learners. I have a Master’s in Instructional Design and Educational Technology, where I focus on creating effective and engaging learning experiences.

I have experience teaching and tutoring Math (PreK–5), as well as Arabic and French (for Kids and Adults), and I’ve worked with students of diverse learning styles and needs. My approach is patient, structured, and supportive, and I always aim to make learning clear, engaging, and enjoyable.

I understand that confidence plays a big role in a child’s success. That’s why I focus not only on helping students improve academically, but also on helping them feel comfortable, capable, and motivated. I take the time to explain concepts step by step, especially in math, so students can build strong foundations and truly understand what they are learning.

With my background in both teaching and training, I bring professionalism, organization, and care to every lesson. I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to grow.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centered on building strong foundations, confidence, and a positive learning experience. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match each child’s pace, strengths, and needs. My goal is not only to help students understand the material, but also to help them feel capable and motivated.

I use a structured yet flexible approach that combines:

For Math (PreK–5), I focus on developing strong foundational skills, number sense, and problem-solving abilities. For Arabic and French, I emphasize reading, writing, pronunciation, and conversational skills in a natural and supportive way.

Each lesson is organized but adapted to the student:
Review of previous material to reinforce learning

Short recap to make sure the student fully understands
