About Logan
Born and raised in Nashville, I grew up in a city that has both an established and intriguing history as well as bright future. With students as the architects of that future, I consider it a personal vocation to help college-level history students meet their potential and, ideally, walk away from my tutoring with a greater critical understanding and interest in history.
When I am not thinking history/students, I like to relax by playing video games, reading manga/comics, and consuming as much fantasy and sci-fi content as I can. As a dyed in the wool nerd, I am always trying to learn and grow everyday.

I use the EDGE method, which includes Explaining the material, Demonstrating how to analyze/interpret the text, Guiding students as they learn the same, ultimately Enabling students on how to approach the material unassisted. While specially-trained in digital tutoring (i.e.: over Zoom), I am comfortable working with students, either individually or in a group setting, in-person as preferred by the students.
I try to cater the specifics of my approach to the student's/students' needs, getting to know the student in a way that both fosters mutual trust as well as identifying the optimal way to the represent the material based of their needs.
