My teaching method is old school and focuses on discussion and interaction with students. As a tutor I aim to critically engage students with the subject at hand - as a lighthouse that leads them rather then holding their hands.
I am an Archaeological Anthropologist who does research in topics relating to the historic human-plant relationships in the Caribbean. I have thought senior level classes at the University of Florida. I have conducted field work in Florida and in Cuba.
