About Mainak

Hello future students,

My name is Mainak Patra, and I’m here to help you learn mathematics in a clear and engaging way. From basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and beyond, I’ve been trained to guide you through a wide range of mathematical concepts.

I want to share my knowledge of mathematics because it is more than just numbers and formulas—it’s a way of thinking. Math helps you develop logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and the ability to see patterns in the world around you.

Whether you’re solving equations, understanding formulas, or tackling challenging problems, I’m here to support you step by step. You can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and try again—because that’s how real learning happens.

My goal is not just to help you get the right answers, but to help you understand *why* those answers work. When you understand the “why,” math becomes much more meaningful and even enjoyable.

About the lesson

This is your moment—and I won’t waste it.

If you’ve ever felt like learning was just memorizing things you’d forget the next week, you’re not alone. That’s exactly what I refuse to do.

My method is different because **you won’t just learn—you’ll actually understand**.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all teaching. Some of you learn by seeing, some by doing, some by asking a hundred questions—and in my class, that’s not just allowed, it’s encouraged. We’ll break things down until they make sense, not until the syllabus is “finished.”

You won’t be sitting there wondering, *“When will I ever use this?”*—because I’ll show you exactly how it connects to real life. Whether it’s solving problems, thinking critically, or just becoming more confident in your abilities, what you learn here will actually matter.

And yes, we’ll work hard—but it won’t be boring. Expect discussions, challenges, maybe even a few debates. You’ll have a voice here.

Most importantly, I won’t give up on you. Not if you’re struggling, not if you’re quiet, not even if you’ve already decided you’re “not good” at this subject. That idea? We’re getting rid of it.
