About Marissa
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my minor in Sociology in 2020. Currently, I am pursing a Master's degree in Consciousness and Human Potential. Education has always been very important to me, as I grew up with two parents for teachers. I have four years of experience volunteering in public schools and 1 year experience working with undergraduate students on their writing skills.

I will use an adaptive teaching method based on the needs of the student and the classwork to create a course syllabus which outlines our time together. We will examine past and current assignments and work together to come up with a plan that will not only improve grades and writing skills, but make writing a less stressful process overall. I will work with you to overcome writing anxiety and learn how to transform your thoughts into words with ease. Together we will learn how to add 'flow' to your writing and coherently express ideas.
I specialize in academic and creative writing in all subjects for undergraduate and high school students from 9th - 12th grade, with a heavy emphasis on psychology and sociology.
