About Dawn

I’m passionate about teaching supply chain management because I’ve seen first-hand how powerful the right knowledge and guidance can be in transforming both careers and business performance.

Throughout my career in operations and supply chain, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor teams, develop future leaders, and support individuals in building confidence in complex, fast-paced environments. One of the most rewarding parts of my roles has always been helping others grow — whether that’s coaching new starters, developing supervisors, or guiding teams through change and improvement.

Supply chain can often feel overwhelming when you’re learning it for the first time. I want to make it accessible, practical, and relevant by sharing real-world experience alongside theory. My goal is to help students not only understand concepts, but also feel confident applying them in real situations — whether in exams, university coursework, or the workplace.

I also believe there’s a real gap between academic learning and industry practice. By teaching, I aim to bridge that gap — giving students insight into how supply chains truly operate, what employers are looking for, and how to stand out in this field.

Ultimately, I teach because I enjoy seeing others succeed. Helping someone go from confusion to confidence, or from learning to applying knowledge in real life, is what motivates me.

About the lesson

With over 15 years of hands-on experience in supply chain and operations management, I bring real-world expertise from leading organisations including DHL, XPO, Great Bear Distribution, and Europa Worldwide Group.

My career has been built on delivering measurable results — from achieving service levels above 99.9%, reducing labour costs by 20%, to successfully managing multi-million-pound operations and high-volume distribution environments handling millions of orders annually. I specialise in areas such as supply chain strategy, warehouse operations, inventory control, forecasting, KPI performance, and continuous improvement.

What sets my lessons apart is my practical, industry-led approach. I don’t just teach theory — I help you understand how supply chains work in real business environments. Whether you're studying supply chain management at university, preparing for exams, or looking to develop professional skills, I tailor each session to your goals and experience level.

In our lessons, you can expect:
