About Kalvin
I am a student at the Strasbourg Conservatory, studying piano, harpsichord, and composition. Music has been part of my daily life since a very young age, both in practice and in theory as well as composition.
I enjoy sharing what I do and, above all, adapting to each person depending on their level, interests, and goals. I try to build something simple and effective so that they can progress at their own pace.
The idea is mainly to work in a relaxed atmosphere, where we move forward without pressure, in a healthy way for both body and mind.

I teach piano, harpsichord, composition, and music theory, to both beginners and more advanced students. Lessons can take place at my home, online via video call, or at the student’s home in Mutzig or Strasbourg. Lesson length is flexible, usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the student’s needs.
My teaching approach is highly adapted to each individual. We work on instrumental technique, score reading, ear training, as well as interpretation and the enjoyment of playing. For those who are interested, I also include elements of composition and musical writing.
A lesson is generally quite flexible in structure: we often start with exercises or a warm-up, then work on pieces in progress, while taking the time to correct technical points and understand the music in depth.
These lessons are aimed at anyone motivated to learn, whether to discover music, progress regularly, or prepare for entry into a conservatory or an exam.
