About Elizabeth
Hi there! My name is Elizabeth and I am an elementary school teacher! I teach students of all abilities and personalities and am so excited to have the opportunity to teach you! I studied how to be a teacher for 5 years in college and practiced my teaching skills in a Kindergarten class, a 2nd-grade class, and with students from 1st to 5th grade in small groups. I love getting to know my students, especially what they like and what they don't like so that we can learn from each other while conquering our biggest and smallest challenges in our learning!

Hello! I have studied many ways to teach students and I believe learning is individualized. One of my many strengths as a teacher is being able to differentiate lessons and adjust them for each student. A typical lesson would follow the structure of addressing the challenge problem or topic, reviewing surrounding material, instructing new and old material and strategies that link to the challenge problem or topic, assisted practice, followed by individual practice. I am looking to help any and all elementary students with any subject so that they feel confident and valued throughout their learning journey!
