About Sarah
My teaching experience includes 2.5 years of PK-8 classroom teaching following my undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University for music education. I actively perform around my hometown on vocals, saxophone, and oboe. I studied both vocal and instrumental pedagogy in college, and this perspective was life-changing when designing lessons for students in primary and secondary school.

Students who are interested in learning music theory and appreciation are perfect for my courses. These classes are individually driven based on the individual interest, but include music listening, performance skills and composing. Classes will focus on the age group of 5-18, but can also serve as enrichment for adults wanting to explore music as a hobby.
