About Jon
I've spent almost 20 years helping students from all walks of life improve their English language skills. I spent 17 years in China teaching both General English and Business English. I've taught both one-to-one lessons and large corporate groups.

My focus, as your tutor, is a balance of the four macro skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) in order to help you improve both fluency and accuracy. A typical lesson might start with grammar or vocabulary practice followed by a speaking topic of choice. My main focus is on adults who need to improve their English skills for work and leisure.
