About Sophie

Outside of my education I participated in numerous festivals competitions, which are Russian festival where I got two 1st degree laureate as a “Virtuoso Performer” and “Classics for Children”, this experience taught me how to share my emotions on the stage and deliver my message through music to the audience. I also consistently attended the Keshet Eilon master classes conducted by Professor Itzhak Rashkovsky and also the New Virtuosi international master courses with him, where I received very necessary and powerful knowledge, which helps me to this day. Also, in 2017 I appeared as a guest performer in the opening ceremony of the “Paphos-European Capital Culture 2017” event in Cyprus, which was organised by the “Walk the Plank” team, and at such an early age this experience showed me how much I love playing for people and sharing my love for my instrument and music with them. In July 2024, I attended the Soloist Academy Music Festival in Ferney-Voltaire, France, alongside Alexander Kagan, he gave me the most useful advice and secrets to feel confident and truly enjoy performing on the big stages, because he is a touring musician himself. During the summer of 2024, I got the opportunity to perform in concert venues in France and Switzerland where I successfully used all of his methods. In October 2024, I received an invitation from Sergey Ostrovsky,
the Violin Professor at Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, for private lessons, which I’m grateful that I had because he helped with a lot of my repertoire.
I want to start teaching mostly because I really want to share my experience and knowledge with other people and hopefully help to improve or learn more.

About the lesson

I’m really patient and hardworking! I really try to find a special approach to each and every person. I pay attention to the detail. My goal is to teach you not only how to play but how to express yourself through your instrument. If you have any questions you can always ask me as many times as you need and I will always try to explain it to you!
