About Ben
Hi! My name is Ben and I am a professional musician based in London. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, helping people to achieve their goals and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
I have a wealth of experience performing professionally across the UK and Europe, either with my own bands or working as a sideman for various bands and artists such as Soweto Kinch, London Jazz Orchestra, NYJO, and Ashley Allen.
Professional highlights include performing at Ronnie Scott's, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Barbican.
I pride myself on my communication skills and professionalism, as well as a commitment to a student-first approach to teaching.

Lessons are tailored to you focusing on your goals, whether you are playing just for fun or working towards grades/music college. Lessons typically last one hour.
I have taught private lessons for 4+ years encompassing a variety of subjects (inc. saxophone, clarinet, music theory, composition, arranging, production).
I am adept at teaching for all saxophones (soprano, tenor, alto, baritone), Jazz or Classical disciplines as well as technique and sight reading.
I also work for M:Tech Education Services, providing composition/music tech classes for primary school-aged children.

BA (Hons) Jazz Performance, The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (2022)
Advanced Diploma in Audio Production and Sound Engineering, Abbey Road Institute (2027)
