About Gemma
I am a professional pianist and piano teacher, originally from London. I trained at the Royal College of Music, Royal Northern College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. I have performed all over the world including Finland, Canada, France and at Buckingham Palace (for King Charles III). I am primarily a classical pianist, however I have professional experience in Musical Theatre and as a songwriter. My songs have been performed on BBC TV & BBC radio. I love teaching and I hope to meet you soon for a first lesson!

I enjoy teaching all styles of piano playing/piano music, from classical to jazz and rock. I have plenty of experience teaching students of all ages (from 5 to 85!) online - with great success! All students need is a piano or keyboard and a phone or laptop. I am equally happy teaching complete beginners as I am advanced recitalists! My lessons are positive and enthusiastic and tailored to individual goals and lesson styles. I have 100% student success rate in ABRSM exams, but exams are not obligatory!

Perfect! Gemma is just lovely and a great teacher. I learnt so much and was able to go at my own pace. She was so encouraging and I was so pleased to be able to do the theory and classical alongside chords. I can’t wait for my next lesson!
- Heather is a very intelligent student who already has much musical knowledge due to her previous instrumental studies and her singing experience.
