About Helen
I am a Bachelors degree holder in Actuarial science which is a mathematics and statistical field. I always teach my classmates whenever they do not understand. I have always loved mathematics from birth and always had an ‘A’ in it and With my experience and credentials, I am well prepared to dedicate myself to the highest standards of tutoring at Add It Up and exceed your expectations as your new Math Tutor. A solid education provides hope for disadvantaged students to live a better quality of life. I’m hoping that through my efforts as a math tutor, I’ll be able to help bridge the gap between struggle and success for many of my students.
I will Assist students in computational problems ranging in complexity from simple algebra to advanced trigonometric equations.
Design and utilize customized lesson plans to ensure each student’s capacity to understand and retain the concepts.
Utilize engaging, hands-on educational methods to facilitate a fun, personalized approach to learning while stimulating students’enjoyment of and appreciation for math and continually boosting students’self-confidence and self-esteem, helping struggling students to improve their critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
