About Jordan
I recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Music Education. French horn is my primary instrument, but I also enjoy teaching trumpet. I know from experience that every student learns differently, so I like to shape each lesson around the player in front of me—focusing on their goals, pace, and what excites them about music. My goal is to help students not only improve their skills but also enjoy the process of making music.

Lessons focus on building strong fundamentals (tone, breathing, embouchure, flexibility, and musicianship) while keeping music fun and engaging. I use a mix of method books, custom exercises, and solo repertoire to create lessons that are both challenging and rewarding. What a Typical Lesson Looks Like - Warm-ups and breathing exercises - Technique practice (scales, articulation, lip slurs) - Etudes or solo repertoire suited to your level - Ensemble skills (intonation, phrasing, sight-reading) - Clear practice goals for the week ahead Who Lessons Are For - French horn: beginner to advanced (middle school, high school, college prep). - Trumpet: beginner to intermediate students. - Students preparing for All-Region/All-State auditions, college auditions, or ensemble placements.
