About Imanol
I have a degree in physics from the UAM and a master's degree in theoretical physics from the IFT. I currently live in Milan where I am exploring a life and professional change. Since I was little I have been passionate about science and mathematics and I would love to share my hobby with all those people who for one reason or another have not been able to enjoy the game of science.

It hasn't been that long since I finished my studies and I've always been very critical of those who taught me, both for good and for bad. I have found that mathematics is taught as a bunch of rules and procedures that are applied without understanding the underlying concepts turning what should be a simple subject into a meaningless jumble. I have a certain ability to understand these subjects but from the beginning I liked helping my classmates and considering different ways to explain the knowledge, trying to transmit my passion.
Most of the time the student has not had time to assimilate one single specific concept and this has become a burden that prevents him from advancing adequately. Once this problem is solved, the ideas become transparent to the logic of science and it is much easier to move forward.
For pleasure I write my own math book in which I try to explain the concepts as I would have liked to receive them. Both the classes I give and the book I write serve as a research thread in the search for my own methodology. In any case, what is clear to me is that the need to memorize formulas, methods or procedures is a bad idea if we want to understand a subject that is based on logic and creativity.
That is why I always try to justify each step I take, seeking to make mathematics something natural and intuitive so that the student can build the solutions to their doubts on their own.
