About Kevin
I am an experienced maths grinds and have a bachelor's degree in biology as well as a master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences. Personally, math isn't about good at calculating. Rather, being good at math is about understanding the concept and be able to apply. As with most tutors, if not all, seeing students gain confidence in the subject that were once thought impossible for them is the biggest trigger in pursuing teaching.

My overall aim in teaching is to give confidence to students struggling in the subject. Therefore, I try to find the goals students have, whether for exams or for simply improving. I try to explain the concepts as simple and concise as possible so that students can understand quickly while using time more efficiently. In cases where students still have a hard time, I am patient with them, as each individual has his/her learning rate.
