About Julian
I am very passionate about music every day. I began singing at three years old and started playing piano at the age of seven. I attended UNC Greensboro with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano to help develop my vocabulary. It would be an awesome honor to tutor and help students who are also passionate about doing music.

I teach my students theory before anything song/music related. It's very important for a student to understand the fundamentals, modes, and how to analyze progressions. I'll have students do a warm-up song before we get into the learning structure. What makes me different from other tutors is the extra passion that I have for the students to not just learn, but to go deeper in their learning. This lesson is for all ages (beginners, intermediate, and advanced).
