My approach to tutoring is simple: build real understanding, not just memorized formulas. I recently graduated with a degree in Economics, and I know firsthand how intimidating subjects like macro/microeconomics, financial economics, econometrics, and statistics can feel until someone breaks them down clearly.
A typical lesson starts with figuring out exactly where you're getting stuck — whether that's a concept, a type of problem, or just how to approach exam questions — and then working through it step by step with real examples, not just textbook theory. I'll assign light practice between sessions if it's helpful, but the goal is always building genuine confidence, not just getting through homework.
What sets me apart is that I'm not far removed from being in your seat. I just finished this coursework myself, so I understand which concepts trip people up and why, and I can explain them the way a fellow student would — clearly, patiently, and without jargon.
My lessons are best suited for college students taking intro-to-advanced economics, statistics, or finance courses, though I'm happy to work with anyone looking to strengthen their foundation in these subjects.
