About Cyril

I like to make learning fun. I'll create scenarios that are relevant to the person's lifestyle, or practical use so that math doesn't seem like a waste of a subject to learn in school. It would be especially engaging if they have hobbies or interests that can spark a good conversation and can be tied back to learning.

About the lesson

After getting to know the student, I focus my teaching based on how they learn, and use associative terminology to explain challenging concepts. I've tutored math and chess throughout my high-school years and all of the students I have taught have increased their academic grades in those subjects by as great as 5-15%.

I can tutor primarily elementary to high-school mathematics. I can teach it the way I was taught, or I can adapt to the current method as long as it can be referenced easily.

I have flexible time schedules.
