About Mitchell
My name is Mitch Gilliland. I am a 33 year old 4th year graduate from Monash, Melbourne. I currently reside in Queensland.
I want to teach to help you maximise and promote understanding of your studies, whilst also providing frameworks of approaches to learning which may be more specific to yourself. I am a believer that every individual has their strengths and weaknesses, and in identifying them, your potential for planning and acquiring the grades you would like, have their maximum potential of being achieved.

My approach to tutoring is mainly centered around helping students in learning how to learn. I consider myself a down to Earth person who gets on with people who want to achieve their goals, whilst being able to answer all of the big questions surrounding the context of the degree, and what is expected. Help with writing style suited to scientific methodology will be promoted, which can aid in revision phases of essays. Being a tutor, I also pride myself on showing others "tips and tricks" for lack of a better term to achieve a study/life balance, whilst heading towards their goals. Peripheral practices surrounding organisation, motivation and exam preparation are huge areas I enjoy helping individuals with.
