Who I Am and Why I Teach My name is Balian, and I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. With years of experience working with children and young adults as both an educator and a coach, I understand that every learner is unique and deserves a personalized approach to their education. My journey as an educator began during my time as an Outside School Hours Care educator, where I had the privilege of supporting students not only academically but also in their personal growth. I’ve also had the rewarding experience of coaching youth soccer, which taught me how to inspire confidence, foster discipline, and instill a sense of teamwork and resilience in young people. I teach because I believe in the transformative power of learning. Watching a student grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals is incredibly fulfilling. I want to create a safe, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new ideas, and realizing their capabilities.
