About Jennifer
I've studied classical piano for over 14 years and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance in 2022. Since graduating, I taught private piano lessons and tutored math and reading for a year in Florida before moving to Sacramento. Outside of piano, I do research on neurodevelopmental disorders, and I love crocheting and climbing in my free time!

I teach classical piano with some music theory, but if you have a song or piece you'd like to play, I'm more than happy to help with that too! I am a traveling teacher, so I will provide face-to-face lessons in the convenience of your own home. I teach beginner to advanced students of any age. I'm also happy to teach short-term if you're unsure about pursuing piano long-term, moving, etc.
Typical lessons for beginners involve learning note-reading, scales, basic music theory, and easy songs.
Intermediate and advanced lessons will include more advanced music theory, sight-reading, and more difficult pieces.
If you have a specific goal in mind, I am happy to tailor the lessons to fit your needs!
