About Katya
I struggled during some of my beginner science courses, which is what helped me establish an efficient and effective method of studying, that made science feel like a never ending story. Once you know the basics, any biology class you take should be a breeze. It’s understandable to feel lost in a big classroom as the teacher rushes through the information, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get it! Once the information is broken down for you based on your level of knowledge, it will all start to make sense.

I will ensure to make each lesson fun, enjoyable, engaging, and inspiring! Science doesn’t haven’t to be as tough as it may seem. Once you learn the foundation/basics of the material, you will start to see it all make sense! Science is more than just memorizing a bunch of facts. My lessons will start off with a small quiz, just to see the level the student is on and to understand the pace I should be moving at. I will always begin with the basics as a review. I will also incorporate a little bit of anatomy and physiology(organs and their functions) in any lesson plan, so that when you learn different mechanisms and definitions, it will be much easier to understand!
