About Brian
I originally learned to code because I was interested in making games. I find it is also a great way to learn some of the early concepts. I struggled at first, but it all really started to click for me when I made my first game. It was a text based game of Uno. It helped me realize that learning to code presents a lot of hurdles as you go that seem too difficult, but with persistence and a little help you can get to the other side and soon it becomes like second nature.

Programming can be seen as a boring, monotonous grind, but it can also be seen as an imaginative and artistic way to create something. Both can be true depending on how you approach the subject. It is important to work hard in order to grasp difficult concepts, but it is also just as important to find ways to use those concepts in a new and innovative way.
I find that the best way to learn Programming in any language is to learn the fundamentals of how your code communicates and interacts with the devices that we all use. Whether it's a Mac, PC, cell phone, or any other device. The building blocks are the same. If you understand why the code you write does what it does, it will help you learn faster, and do it more efficiently.
Whether you're new to coding or you've been learning for a while and are having trouble grasping a new concept it's best to understand it in its simplest form first before jumping to implementation.
