About Megan
One of my favorite things in the world is being able to help students feel more confident in their writing, and making it easier for them to understand, not just in the moment, but in all future writing assignments. I enjoy watching the lightbulb go on when something clicks and knowing that I was able to make a difference in their educational career.

As a tutor, I like to adapt my teaching methods to the needs of the student, utilizing the different learning styles (visual, auditory, & kinesthetic) to help them understand the material. I like to start with going over what assignments the student has coming up and focus on what they need help with to get them a finished project. I have over 7+ years as an English & writing tutor, and I have never received any grade below an A on an essay, so I can guarantee I know my stuff. I've tutored students from high school through college, and have been given positive feedback from almost every student that I have helped, as I was able to bump them up at least a whole grade.
