About Casandra
I hold a master's degree in speech and hearing science with an emphasis in deaf education, and have taught reading to deaf children and to hearing children as well. Both learned how to read. I can use American Sign Language as well.

Reading lessons are individualized for each student. I assess where the student is at and progress from there. Lesson plans can include phonics, phonetics, mouth placement for producing letter sounds, and practice reading. I can tutor both hearing and deaf students from the beginning level.
