About Dolores
Introduction of who I am, what I do, and why I’m there to support them in gaining success. I’m a teacher of many years and have had wonderful experiences. I ask a lot of questions to allow them to feel comfortable with me. The last questions I ask to share is what they struggle with and try to get to know their likes. I want to share where they think ‘they got it’ and where they struggle. Provide some simple tests, verbal or written, to see where they are at i.e. handwriting tells a lot. I decide where to start and move at a pace that is appropriate for the student's learning and review for comprehension.

I’m a dedicated teacher to the success of all my students that need to learn. I design their learning strategies leading with individualizing based on their existing knowledge or lack thereof. I learn how they learn to best support them in their journey and modify the learning to meet their abilities, strengths, and address weaknesses. I let them know and feel that I care about them and their learning and support them with positive assurances when earned and positive support when struggling. I love to see their smiles and change to positive attitudes when they get it as well as continue to encourage when having difficulty.
