About Lexi
I started my teaching journey during my first year of college at Florida State University. Since then, I've found that I love sharing my passion for the craft with others, and learn so much from my students as well!
Every student's lesson plan is different to meet the individuality and needs of each person. I have taught over 10 different courses, and 20+ students privately in my experience. This has led me to the opportunity to expand my Teacher and Actor toolbox on creating fulfilling, productive, and fun lessons!
Acting and singing SHOULD BE FUN!!! But on the same token, are very vulnerable and new for some, and this is why lessons should be safe spaces. Goals are a huge part of lessons. This helps our process together, to make sure the students feel successful and more importantly, confident!

I create a safe space for my students to think outside the box and help them grow in their theatrical journey! I typically start with a warm-up that leads into technique work, followed by implementing the training into pieces from the theatre/film canon.
I have taught from age 4 to 21, and curated lessons to the specific student's needs!
I have training in Stanislavski, Meisner, Chekhov, Uta Hagen, Linklater Voice work! I have worked for 5+ years on Scanion and analyzing Shakespearean text, and 8+ years on vocal technique!
