About Buvaneswari

I’m Buvaneswari from India resident in United Kingdom. I have completed my B.Lit Tamil and I have also received the Tamil Pulavar Pattam from Thanjavur University, which has strengthened my knowledge and passion for Tamil language and literature. In addition to that, I have completed my B.Ed., which has given me professional training in teaching and classroom management. I have also graduated with M.A. History, which has helped me gain a wider understanding of culture, society, and historical background. With these qualifications, I am confident in teaching Tamil effectively and guiding students in both language and literature with clarity and meaningful learning.

About the lesson

This lesson is for beginners where I focus on teaching basic Tamil vowels to beginners. Students will learn 12 vowels along with correct pronunciation. The vowels are: அ, ஆ, இ, ஈ, உ, ஊ, எ, ஏ, ஐ, ஒ, ஓ, ஔ. Each letter will be shown with audio so learners can listen and repeat. Writing practice will be given by tracing each letter five times. A short activity will ask students to write small words using the vowels. At the end, a simple test will be provided to match each vowel with its sound. This lesson helps with reading, writing, and speaking foundation.
