About Marija
Hey there,
My name is Marija and I am a UX designer and researcher.
Currently, I work in the food tech industry as a mix methods UX Researcher, Product Manager, and UX Designer (the work life of a startup founding member )
I also coach, mentor, tutor and help startups establish the UXD and UXR departments.
I am usually at capacity when working with students, because I believe in qualityover quantity. Currently, I have opening for 2 students, and in March 2024 I'll be able to take two more.

About the lesson

In the past 10 years of my career, I worked as a tutor and mentor for absolute begginers in UXD and UXR, while helping tem to make professional change.
During the lessions we would cover the theoretical part, I would assign student additional reading materials and 2-3 weekly tasks (total of 50 taks).
The complete course covers:
1. The approach to Design Thinking,
2. UX Research Fundamentals,
3. Prototyping and Testing,
4. UI Fundamentals,
5. Usability testing with real test participants (and how to recruit them),
6. Refining design based on the research results,
7. Communication with the Product Managers and Developer hand-off,
8. and finally - Presenting the project to broader audience
On the other hand, I helped over a dozen startups to established their UX Design and UX research practice, from scratch, by educating their team members.
Also, I work as a consultant and coach with already established professionals, when then need to validate their ideas or introduce new practices.
