About Gretchen

I am a passionate and patient English / Math / Filipino tutor with over 2 years of experience helping students from Grade 1 up to Grade 12build confidence and academic success. I graduated a Senior High School and specialize in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, engaging lessons tailored to each student's unique learning style.

About the lesson

"In my previous tutoring sessions, I structure lessons around the student's immediate goals. For example, in a recent session on [Algebra/English Grammar Tagalog], I began with a 5-minute diagnostic check to identify the gap, used a guided-practice approach to break down the core rule, and had the student independently solve a set of problems while explaining their reasoning out loud. This approach helped the student improve their accuracy and build confidence for upcoming quizzes.
