About James
My name is James and I am a father of 2. I realized I was good at teaching in my 30s while I was going to college. I honed my skills and have been pushed by my wife and fellow park moms to pursue teaching kids. I love watching people grow, learn new things and expand their minds. I have a gift for understanding how individuals learn and adapting my style to best fit their needs.

I teach by doing. I give hands-on projects that relate to my students' lives to keep them involved. A typical lesson won't feel like you're learning, it will feel like we're playing a game. My style changes with each person. I need to understand how you like to learn and will adjust my teaching style to fit your learning style. I am able to connect with a wide range of students; 3-99 is my target age range. Everyone is able to learn something new if they want to and put in the effort.
