About Emma
I'm an actress and singer, trained in Musical Performance at the Institut del Teatre, and I also have experience teaching theater and singing to students of all ages. Learning to sing shouldn't be intimidating or turn into a class full of exercises you don't understand. I like my classes to be a space for learning, trying things out, making mistakes, understanding them, and above all, enjoying singing. I completely adapt my classes to each student: we can work from scratch, improve pitch and vocal technique, prepare songs, work on musical theater or pop repertoire, or focus more on interpretation and expressiveness. We can also prepare you for auditions or castings to help you go further and convey your essence to the judges. My training in Musical Performance means I place great importance on the connection between singing and interpreting. For me, a song isn't just about singing the notes correctly: it's about understanding what we're saying, how we want to convey it, and how we can make it our own. I've worked with children, teenagers, and adults, and I like to find the way to explain each concept that works best for each individual. You don't need experience, or to think you know exactly what you want to improve or what you'd be good at working on—that's what I'm here for! All you need is the desire to sing. From there, we'll discover together everything your voice can do.

What are my classes like? Do you love to sing but don't know where to start? Do you want to improve your technique, gain confidence, or simply enjoy singing more? Then we can work together. My singing lessons are completely tailored to each individual. It doesn't matter if you've never had a singing lesson before or if you already have experience: we start from your level and your goals to build a technique that allows you to sing freely and, above all, without straining your voice. My background in Musical Performance means that my classes combine vocal technique and interpretation. We'll work on breathing, support, pitch, resonance, projection, coordination, and other technical aspects, but also on how to interpret a song, understand the lyrics, convey emotions, and find your own way of singing. And, of course, we'll sing songs! I believe that learning technique is much more fun when we can immediately apply it to a repertoire you enjoy. We can work on songs from musicals, pop, and other styles, choosing the repertoire according to your tastes and goals. What's a class like? We'll usually start with some relaxation, breathing, and vocal warm-up exercises. Afterwards, we'll work on different technical aspects through exercises tailored to your voice, and finally, we'll apply what you've learned to a song. We'll also dedicate time to interpretation: lyrics, intention, emotion, phrasing, musicality, and stage presence. Every class is different because every voice is different. If you need to work specifically on your pitch, we'll focus on that; if you want to prepare a song for an audition, we'll work on that song; if you simply want to feel more confident singing, we'll build that confidence little by little. What can you expect from me? For me, it's very important that the classes are a space where you can experiment, make mistakes, and learn without fear of judgment. I don't expect everyone to sing the same way. My goal is to help you get to know your own voice, discover its potential, and learn to use it in a healthy, technical, and expressive way. Furthermore, my experience as a performer allows me to work not only on how we sing but also on what we want to convey when we sing. Who are my classes for? Beginners: if you've never sung before or want to start from scratch. Intermediate level: if you already sing and want to improve your technique and confidence. Musical theater: song preparation and performance work. Pop and other styles: adapting technique and repertoire to your tastes. Auditions and performances: song preparation, performance, and stage presence. Singing for pleasure: because you don't have to want to be a professional to want to sing better. In short: you bring your voice and your desire to sing; I'll help you discover everything you can do with them.
