My approach to tutoring is student-centred, meaning that lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. Depending on what the student would like to focus on, I adjust the content and structure of the lessons accordingly.
I use a variety of techniques, including conversation practice, vocabulary building, and cultural discussion. For students who want to improve their speaking skills, I incorporate real-life topics such as Korean culture, as well as commonly used slang and abbreviations to help them sound more natural.
A typical lesson usually lasts around 40 minutes, but this can be adjusted based on the student’s preference.
I have experience teaching Korean to primary school students, which has helped me develop patience and clear communication skills. In addition, I have taken the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), which gives me a strong understanding of structured language learning.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, as well as anyone interested in improving their conversational Korean or learning more about Korean culture.
