About Yanet
I was born in Eritrea and moved to the UK at 5 years old. I grew up in east london. I never imagined myself to want to teach, in fact I wanted to be a banker. But at one point I had the opportunity to help students that were struggling with maths and quickly realised there was no better feeling than seeing young people succeed in what they previously failed at. So I fell in love with the job and went to get officially qualified to teach.
