MY TEACHING METHOD IS TO PROVIDE DIRECT INSTRUCTION STEP BY STEP ORGANIZATION OF THINKING TO SOLVE OR ASSIST WITH RETENTION OF THE CONTENT. THEN MOVE INTO MORE STUDENT CENTERED PRACTICE AND APPLICATION THROUGH ONLINE GAMES OR DISCUSSION. THIS WILL ALLOW ME TO DETERMINE WHERE THE STUDENT IS NOT COMPREHENDING. I BASE MY CLASSES ON THE CONTENT THAT IS ALIGNED TO THE STANDARD AND POSSIBLY TAKE THEM TO THE NEXT LEVEL ONCE COMPREHENSION IS PROFICIENT.
